Those snow people are so fun to make! They are my rendition of Sue Pelletiers's Sparkling Snowmen as seen in Dec/Jan 2008 Cloth, Paper, Scissors.

I used them for name place holders that Christmas, so each one is actually a family member!

This is a lovely space. So neat and organized. I love the shelves, the color scheme and everything else. Thanks for sharing.

By the way, where does the trellis display piece come from?

gm glimmerglass said...

Hi Deborah - The trellis is actually two pieces, screwed straight in to the wall.

The top part is a 1960's plastic faux wood carving wall hanging - the type that used to go up in kitchens next to the gigantic fork and spoon. These are easy to find at thrift stores.

The trellis itself is a wooden folding trellis from the dollar store.

Do you have two work places? I am a little confused. The first one looked like more of an inspiration station and i loved the little turquoise boxes everywhere.

The second was full of charm, too. with your little snow critters on display and such great blue color!

My daughter and I have a "young" blog and would love to have you visit, if you wish. She and I have been making jewelry together for fifteen years but also have other interests. I love vintage paper crafts and she loves vintage fashion...and we both love estate sales!

Thanks for giving us a peek at your space. This is such a fun party.

I am catching up with a few visits of my own on the studio tour and thought I'd stop in.

Your use of various pieces for storage and display really shows some creativity and ingenuity. It doesn't hurt that your husband can make whatever you envision. That's cool!

It's been a really neat visit here. Thanks for the tour!

You sure have a lot of pens. The louvered board is such a clever idea. I adore all the ways you have worked with your space and all the beautiful and colorful pieces you have put in it, Thanks for sharing.

Okay, so I have to tell you up front that robin's egg blue is one of "her" favorite colors.....so it is no wonder that "she" was practically foaming at the mouth while viewing all the wonderful pictures of your creative space.....but how you used them....and displayed them.....oh dear, I can see it coming....she'll be re-organizing with lots of blue ball jars.....no problem as long as one of them contains some cat treats! Your creative space is wonderfully purrfect! Thanks so much for sharing - we totally enjoyed ourselves!!!

Purrs!

Very put together look! I love the turquoise accents throughout the room. Sometimes smaller is better. It makes you think things through more and everything is more conveniently located. Thank you so much for sharing. I love how everything has a place yet is not hidden away. Connie
