Easy Kid's Valentines

Here are a few examples of
quick and easy Kid's Valentines that we've been crankin' out.

LOVE BOMB: This is made from an empty Coke specialty bottle, filled with Valentine Peanut M&M's. The fuse is a pipe cleaner through a button, secured with hot glue. I used a Paper Shaper Scalloped Tag punch and stamped it in red with those tiny Studio G alpha stamps you can get at Mike's for a buck.

U-R COOL: These are bubbles from the Dollar Store wrapped with a slice of DCWV Strawberry Glitter paper and embellished with a round tag and foam heart. Fast and simple!

MONSTER HEART:
Here's an easy, no frills
Boy's Valentine that reads
"Happy Valentine's
from Your Favorite
Little Monster."
The die cut is an 3" Accu-cut
scalloped heart and the eye
is from a Dollar Store
craft pack .

All You Need is Love

These past few weeks, the studio has been a flurry of pink and red paper, lace doilies, button, bows...
you name it.

All in the name of love.

Some of my favorite kidlets have came down to visit and together we crafted, snacked, crafted some more, danced a bit to shake the sillies out and of course, created amazing Valentines. 240 of them, in all!

Then we sewed up some sweetheart scarves, altered mailboxes for friends, teachers and moms ~ filling them up with love notes, "like" notes and goodies!

Let Me Count the Ways

Here's a Valentine mini-book I made for my kiddo.
It went together pretty fast because I used
photos I had on hand and let them suggest the content.

I was looking for a new colorway that wasn't so "Barbie"
and I decided on brown, maroon, dark peach and
just a bit of pink. (We'll call it salmon, though.)

Party Hearty

Are these cute, or what? Out shopping at Mike's, I found these Pink Heart Bubble Party Favors in the wedding section. With a 40% off coupon, they work out to be about 13 cents each - such a deal! There are 36 to a pack - enough for a whole class and a few teachers besides.

I'm making them into necklaces by attaching pink ribbons from my stash and given them out with Valentines.

{FYI - The cute melamine plate is an inexpensive Target find from last week.}
